The transport truck carrying the ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter (TGO) ready to depart Cannes, France, where TGO has been for the assembly, integration and testing phase.
Both TGO and Schiaparelli (the entry, descent and landing demonstration module) were transported by convoi exceptionnel to Turin-Caselle airport, their departure point for Baikonur.
Launch of the ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter and Schiaparelli, on a Russian Proton rocket from the Baikonur cosmodrome, is scheduled for 14 March, at the start of a launch window that remains open until 25 March.
