A sub-scale EDM parachute high-altitude drop test was performed in the UK early in 2011. This video was recorded while the camera was attached to EDM model during a preparatory flight. Following release from the balloon, after a short free-fall, the parachute was deployed at an altitude of about 30 km. The balloon can be seen in the background.
