The DREAMS battery unit (on the right of this picture).
The DREAMS (Dust Characterisation, Risk Assessment, and Environment Analyser on the Martian Surface) package consists of a suite of sensors to measure the local wind speed and direction (MetWind), humidity (DREAMS-H), pressure (DREAMS-P), surface temperature (MarsTem), the transparency of the atmosphere (Solar Irradiance Sensor, SIS), and atmospheric electric fields (Atmospheric Radiation and Electricity Sensor; MicroARES) at Mars.
The DREAMS package (part of which can be seen at the back of this picture) is powered by the battery unit, which is based on Lithium-ion rechargeable cells.
