The ExoMars 2016 Trace Gas Orbiter in the fuelling area at the Baikonur cosmodrome prior to being mated with Schiaparelli, the entry, descent, and landing demonstrator module.

This view shows the side of the spacecraft that holds the four science instruments: ACS, CaSSIS, FREND and NOMAD. (See this illustration for details of the locations of the instruments.)

The scaffolding and platform are in place to facilitate the activities that need to be carried out to unite Schiaparelli and the Trace Gas Orbiter.
