The ExoMars 2016 spacecraft and the Breeze-M upper stage are mated to the Proton rocket that will carry them into space on the first step of the journey to Mars.

ExoMars 2016 consists of the Trace Gas Orbiter and an entry, descent and landing demostrator module, called Schiaparelli.
