The MIR and NIR instrument models, with covers removed, during quality control checks at IKI, the Space Research Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences.
MIR and NIR are Echelle-spectrometers for middle and near-infrared bands respectively. Along with TIRVIM, a Fourier-spectrometer for the thermal infrared band, they form the Atmospheric Chemistry Suite (ACS).
ACS is one of four science instruments on the ExoMars 2016 Trace Gas Orbiter.
